It's getting down to the wire here with about a few weeks left, so I'm still running in project mode. Got the project schedule up for you guys though:
Painting:
Photo-realism painting, should be up in two weeks
Illustration:
One final illustration, hopefully learning how to draw explosions in this piece. xD
Hoping to have it done by next week
Graphic Design:
We're designing Tea boxes, not sure if it'll be posted on DA or not, depends how well it turns out. But the time frame is somewhere in the next two weeks.
Cosplay Projects:
~Turns out I'll be going as Sailor V to pair up with my friend who's going as Eternal Jupiter, everything's all set for that outfit.
~Disgaea Rozalin cosplay unfortunately has fallen through thanks to a not so responsive wig seller unfortunately.
Which I just absolutely have to say something about to people who sell stuff on DA or anywhere for that matter. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD RESPOND TO YOUR BUYERS, ESPECIALLY IF THEY ALREADY PAID YOU FOR YOUR PRODUCTS. I can't even begin to list the reasons why it makes you look bad when you don't respond. "But I was busy". We're all busy. But waiting to respond past 3-5 days is not only unprofessional but it really makes you look bad. Not to mention that that buyer probably isn't going to be very happy, might write bad reviews about you, yadda yadda yadda, you get the picture. Would you want that to happen to you? No? Then don't do it to other people!
But anyway, looks like that will have to be taken care of next year, as its too short of a notice to make the wig and wings myself. :/
~For the second outfit, I'll be going as Izumi Curtis from Fullmetal Alchemist, and I have a Sig going with me, so it shall be awesome.
~In other news, I'm happy to say that we have an Umineko group going this year. Who shall I be? Well, I'm keeping it a surprise, until the convention.
Though I'm very excited about it. Just need to order the wig and then fix up the costume.
